Terms of Service
These terms govern services provided by QAIR ENGINEERING PTE LTD (UEN 202106861N). Last updated: 2026.
1. Services
Qair provides air-conditioner servicing, chemical overhaul, gas top-up, repair, troubleshooting, installation and replacement to residential and commercial customers in Singapore. By booking with us you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations & pricing
Prices for servicing (general servicing, chemical overhaul and gas top-up) are nett and in Singapore dollars, with no hidden charges. Your price is agreed when your booking is confirmed. For repairs and installations we provide a clear quote for your approval before any work begins. Any additional work beyond the booked service — for example an issue discovered during the job, or extra work you request on the day — will be explained and agreed with you first, then billed separately at our standard rates.
3. Booking & confirmation
Submitting a booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you (by phone or WhatsApp) to confirm the date, time slot and price. No deposit is required to book.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the job, by PayNow (registered to UEN 202106861N) or cash, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellation & rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us as early as possible before your appointment, so we can offer the slot to another customer. We may reschedule in cases of bad weather, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control.
6. Satisfaction guarantee
If a fault we serviced is not resolved, we will return to make it right. Where a repair genuinely cannot be completed, only a transport charge applies and no service fee is charged for the unresolved item.
7. Warranty
For new unit installations, the manufacturer's brand warranty applies to the equipment. If you experience any issue after our work, contact us and we will assist. Workmanship concerns should be raised with us promptly so we can inspect and address them.
8. Customer responsibilities
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the units to be serviced;
- Give accurate information about the units, brand and issue;
- Inform us of any known electrical, structural or safety hazards at the location.
9. Limitation of liability
We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care, and maintain public liability and work-injury insurance. To the extent permitted by law, Qair is not liable for pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or damage arising from factors outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Personal data
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Singapore PDPA.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. We aim to resolve any dispute amicably and informally first; failing that, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
